Carson's 1st Tball game

Carson and Coach Daddy before Carson's 1st ever T-ball game. Carson was so excited. I was so proud of him. He has practiced so much for this day. I think he is going to be our little baseball player. He loves the game and is actually pretty good. He is always wanting to learn and practice with Daniel.
Carson was playing pitcher here. He made some really could catches and threw straight to 1st base. Good job, buddy!! Mommy was so proud of you. He looks so little out there, but looked very professional with all the right stances and had all the right words to say. He would say "ball in", or "foul ball" and I even heard him encouraging his other teammates. At one point he was on the pitchers mound and I heard him say to other player who was up to bat "I'm ready for ya"! Ok that was so funny, I almost fell off the bleachers. Too bad Daniel was coaching 1st and didn't hear it.

Cameron enjoying brothers game!

Carson and his friend

Well this is Carson and Aspen at her birthday party. We had a full day that day, but we had to fit the party in. Carson said he had to go. It was very important that he make this one. You see this is his friend that he says is his girl-friend. He does not like to make a big deal about it and gets very shy when asked but he really has quite a crush on her. When anyone or even himself says her name, he smiles. It is all really cute. She is very sweet and cute. Carson says that she likes him too. When I asked if she was any of the others boys in his class' girlfriend, he said "no he was the only one and everyone knew that." So I guess he has made it clear to everyone in school that she is off limits. The funny thing I saw at the party was another little girl chasing Carson and him running to Aspen and telling her and then Aspen threw her head back, laughed and told Carson he was so funny. It was priceless!

Cameron and his waffle

Here is Cameron eating his first frozen waffle. He loved it. I guess it felt really good on his gums. He ate the whole thing and of course did not want me to take it away ever.
I laid with him today while he was drinking a bottle and realized how fast he is growing. Being that he is our last baby really makes me savor all the little things about him. How I want to bottle him up and never forget that sweet breath of his, those adoring eyes he has for me, and that wonderful time of cuddling that him and I love so much. All makes me a bit emotional atleast once a day.
He was wearing his Mr. Happy t-shirt(which fits his personality perfect) and a diaper. He has the chunkiest thighs and calves and the biggest dimples on his hands where one day he will have knuckles. I laid there and relished the moment by cuddling and kissing him and whispering in his ear. He just lay there smiling through his bottle and kicking those fat legs with excitement. What a joy he is every day, and not a day goes by where I don't think he will be as big as Carson all too soon. God has blessed us beyond measure. Mommy loves you Cameron!!

The Day After

Just a thought to start your week. Something our pastor said in his sermon this weekend really stuck out.
"If you are not going to be the person God called you to be, then who will be you?"

Go out there this week and be you.

"All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Chirst from the dead. Now we live with great expectation..."
1 Peter 1:3(New Living)

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I 'll show you how to take a real rest."
Matthew 11:28(The Message)

The Zoo

We went to the zoo on spring break with our friends Jessica and Dean. This was Dean and Cameron's first visit and of course they will never remember it, but we had a fun time anyway. We had a picnic lunch at the park afterwards. The weather was beautiful and all the boys had a good time.
I think the girafees were everyones favorite. Probably because we got to feed them at 10:30am.
He was very close!

Here is Dean with headphones on. Carson brought the Wiggles DVD so Dean would enjoy it, but really Dean did not like the headphones. So on and then right off they came. He is so cute AND sweet. He and Cameron are 6 months apart so they are going to be big buddies soon.

Here is Carson feeding the goats. There are some big goats in that pen and they all act like they are starving. I think NOT!

This was the cutest picture we got all day. Dean liked feeding the girafee.

Spring Break in Tyler

Meme and Carson working on some word searches together.

Carson and Cameron were being silly. Carson kept putting the doll hat on Cameron and he could not reach it to get it off. Cameron could not figure out what we were all laughing at.

Well Carson, Cameron and I went and stayed with my grandmother for part of Carson's spring break. We had such a good visit. My grandmother really enjoyed having us all there. As most of you know we lost my grandfather last year, so the days and weeks are very long for her still. I am so fortunate that my boys are growing up with great-grandparents like I did. I am hoping these visits will be lasting ones in their minds for years to come. My grandmother and I have always had this unexplainable bond. She has always shown me that unconditional love that our Heavenly Father shows us every day and I thank her for that. She loves me and my boys inside and out and we love her so deeply. We try to make the most of these precious visits just like we did when my grandfather was still here, because you never know how many more you will get. We love you MeMe!

Easter Egg Hunt

It turned out to be a beautiful day for our annual Easter egg hunt at our church. We went with our friends Liz and Shelby and had a good time. Here is Shelby and Carson waiting patiently for the hunt to start.
Look at this cute boy!!

I have no idea what Carson was doing except being silly. This was the best one I got of them together. Oh well, I still have Easter Sunday.

More Snow Fun

The snow was beautiful!
The boys decided to make some more memories in the snow before it got dark! The go-cart was a great idea but really cold. Daniel is such a great dad and not to mention cool too.

Carson was loving this even though it was so cold.

Great snow angel, Carson. Look at those beautiful wings. By the end of the day angels were all over the front yard.

Carson decided that the snow tasted pretty good. Wish we had some snow cone syrup!

Snow in March

This is what Cameron thought about all the snow. This is what I found when he awoke from his nap. His hair standing up everywhere!
He is so cute.

The wind and snow was blowing so hard and I think at this point the snowman lost one of his cucumber eyes.

Here is a snowball Carson came and threw at me. He thought it was so funny!

Well here is the all the snow we got today so far. That makes it twice in one week. They are saying Sanger has gotten 8 inches of snow so far. It is very exciting at our house. Carson is way into this and having a great time. Him and Daniel already made some snowmen and here is a picture of one in the backyard. I made some chili, hot chocolate and Daniel has made a fire. This weather is crazy. More pictures to come.
