On to Kindergarten

Singing their last good-bye song!

Sorry you had to see his ribs! He really does eat all the time. He has gotten so tall and skinny this year.

One more with Josh! They are just too cute!

He had such wonderful teachers and he will miss them!

Well yesterday was Carson's last day of Pre-K and it was bittersweet. He is done and moving on to Kindergarten. What a milestone and a new chapter in his life and ours. My thoughts yesterday were a little all over the place. I love the fact that he is starting kindergarten, but sad because he is growing up way to fast. I was a little teary yesterday and Carson I think thought it was funny! I actually think Daniel did too. I am way out numbered and there is not nearly enough estrogen in this house on any given day. I am not complaining by no means, I love just having boys, just wanted a little sympathy when I was emotional yesterday. Part of my problem was the realization that he would not see most of these kids anymore because of where we live and where our church/school is. The kids are going in all different directions for kindergarten. He has really made some great friends over the last three years and I was sad to see him have to say goodbye to them. We know he will make new friends where he ends up, but it was still hard. They had so much fun with the water slide and pizza party. Carson is ready for the summer and some traveling and already talking about not wanting to do homework. So on to the next chapter in September.

Fun in the Sun

This week the boys enjoyed the pool. It seems to be getting a little too small for Carson to do all his tricks. Cameron really enjoyed it and he loves the water. He would sit down and splash and then pull right back up to standing, and then do it all over again. I think he might have done it about 50 times with me sitting right there trying to hold onto him each time so he would not slip and fall.

Cameron and Bubba

Here are a few of the boys together playing in the grass. What a beautiful day it was. Every time I see these two together I realize what a blessing they are and we are so blessed to have been chosen to be their mom and dad. We are loving and soaking up every minute with these two miracle babies.

The Grass

Cameron was not sure about the grass on the field after Carson's game on Saturday. He kept stopping to look at his hands. We thought he looked so cute crawling around out there on that big field.

The End

Well this was the end of the season for T-ball. Carson had a good game. He had three good hits and made some good stops on the pitchers mound. He had so much fun this season that I think Daniel decided to head a team up for the fall.

They got their trophies at the end of the game.

Carson

Last night was Carson's last program at Cross Timbers Christian Preschool. He loved going to school there and will miss the teachers and all his friends. This is Carson with his best friend, Josh. They met in his first preschool class when he was 3. Yes, the little girl in the middle is his "girlfriend", Aspen, whom he just met this year. He is really smitten by her and is going to miss her and Josh a lot when they all go their separate ways to Kindergarten in Septmember. I can not believe I have one old enough to be starting school. What a sweet time he has had the last few years. He has learned so much and is so ready for "big" school. We are so excited for him, but sad at the same time. Carson is a very smart, social child with a sweet spirit and big heart for others. We know he will continue to do well and have a great year. He is now excited to be planning some fun things for the summer to keep us all busy. We love you, buddy! You are our #1!!

He loves to sing! The girls seem to flock his way. I wonder why?

I asked him what they were singing for the program and he said, "some love song". So true. The name of it was "All About Love".

Cameron

Here is one of my favorite pictures of Cameron. My sister took it when she was in Texas. He is a half time thumb sucker, and the other half he loves his pacifier. My baby will be 10 months on Sunday.

Just posing for the camera at Carson's spring program.

He loves his bath time!
